iPhone Street Photography - A Shift in Perception
I love shooting street photography with the iPhone. Why? Because it is the most versatile, readily available camera and darkroom I own.
A few years back I had a shift of perception relative to the iphone. I stopped seeing it as a small computer that could take snapshots and began to see it as device for creating photography magic. No less so than any other camera I owned.
My shift of perception came about through seeing the work of Koci Hernandez who shoots street photography entirely on an iphone.
The images below were mostly taken on an iphone 8. Some were taken with the iphone 11. All images are edited in phone using a combination of apps. Some images were taken using Hipstamatic.
