Gary Lashmar, also known as The Street Thief, is a London-based photographer working across portraiture, music, film, fashion, documentary and street photography.
Over the years, his work has appeared in British Vogue, Professional Photography Magazine and NME, alongside campaigns for alternative brands including Brooklyn Brewery and James Clay across the UK, Belgium and Germany.
His recent work includes documentary photography with Rival Sons and ZZ Top, as well as promotional stills for the British short film Mudlarks, directed by Dom Gilday, which went on to win several categories at the British Short Film Awards.
Gary has photographed artists Nic Fiddian-Green and Raqib Shaw; musicians Carl Barât, Pete Doherty and Max Bianco; comedian Rob Beckett; and actors including Mirren Mack, Naomi Preston-Law, Hannah Dodd, Ellie James, Ella-Rae Smith and Lewis Rainer.
He has also directed and created music videos for artists including Max Bianco, John Hassall, Liredel and The Heartless.
