Fear in the Heartland
People hurry between barren stores, stocking up on whatever is left. There is not a lot. Fear as etched its way into faces. In years to come when looking back on these early days what will they see? Dreams are halted and whilst all things pass there are long days, weeks and likely months of uncertainty to come. For sure we’re a cosseted nation used to choice and only time will tell how we respond to this glitch in the matrix.
Maybe we’ll wake up.
