Venice Elopement Photography — Lashmar Creative Photography

I am excited that more and more people are looking to Elopement and Micro weddings for 2020/21 as I love to shoot natural portraits and with Elopements there will always be just that little bit more time and space to create some magic in this regard. There is no other way to describe Venice from a photographer's vantage point. It’s a photographers paradise. V&Z had arrived the day before. I was over for just 6 or so hours. I’d never had any burning desire to visit Venice but I do have a burning desire to go back. An awesome afternoon spent with a wonderful couple.

Oh, a little note. If you are ever traveling to Venice on a limited time be sure to give yourself enough time to ferry back to the airport. I made the mistake of thinking my drop-off point (1) which was 10 mins from the airport would be the point at which I got the ferry back. I didn’t take into account Venice has a one-way system. i.e. the boats don’t go in two directions.

They go from 1-29 … in one direction. I discovered this whilst waiting at the drop-off point 1 with only 90 mins to spare before my plane was to leave. It was a Bond-style mission to get across the island to point 29 and I just about made it across and to the airport for my flight back. Sigh. Anyway … I digress. I hope you enjoy the images.
