May Dreams Never Fade

For a lot of seniors football match days are where they derive their sense of being connected. It is also an anchor to their past; memories of long ago, being at the football with their match day programmes, the smell of burgers and onions, the roar of the crowd, the walk to the stadium from the station. Happy memories indeed.

I chose my team West Ham United as inspiration for this, my first, ai project experiment. The work is populated mostly with male characters simply because it’s reflective of football 50-60 years; mainly (although not exclusively) football was a male dominated space.

The characters I create are prompts and formed and born out of memories of real people in my past, slivers of those memories sometimes but quite often large fragments of what I recall of these characters. Some of these people I knew for a brief period and some were very close to me. All are thrown in to the mix.
